Socket Welding Forged Gate valves are suitable for using on various kinds of pipeline from Class150 To Class1500, DN15 To DN50 to cut off or connect the flowing of medium. By using different material, the Socket Welding Forged Gate Valve could be suitable for medium such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxidizing substance, carbamide and etc.
Socket welding connection is used for not very high pressure with small nominal diameter, while butt welding is generally for high pressure.Butt welding usually should be done 100% NDT to ensure there is no leaking. For high pressure or some severe working condition, butt welding connection should be adopted for its better weld strength and force bearing.
All our gate valves have the back seating design. In most cases, the carbon steel gate valve is fitted with a renewable back seat. For Stainless Steel Gate Valve, the back seat is machined directly in the bonnet or is machined after welding. When the gate valve is at fully open position, the sealing of the back seat can be very reliable. However, as per the requirement of API 600, it is not advisable to add or change packing by the mean of back seating when the valve is pressure containing.

Upon the continues increase on customers demand, CHAODA invested a more effective control line with Germany HECKERT machining center, CNC lathe, CNC miller, CNC driller, plasma spray welder, auto painting & drying machine and ultrasonic cleaner, and the max. Machining ability reached 4000mm. The connectable solid warehouse system from parts to finished good ensures the production flow can be alternative by vary demand.
