GQ40A Rebar Cutting Machine, is manufactured according to JG/T5085-1996 standard, is applicable to ordinary carbon steel, Hot-rolled steel and corrugated rebar in reinforced concrete. It can also cut flat steel, angle steel and square steel provided with special blades. GQ40/50/60 has the following features:
Compact structure, solid and reliable
Good lubricating properties. Adopt closed structure, use Gear Splash lubrication, fill in 8-12kgs oil, the machine could work continuously for more than 3 month (oil level not lower than the oil calibration, so that make sure the machine is in well lubrication condition)
Low power consumption. The gear uses rolling bearing, low resistance, could save 1/3 power comparing with other rebar cutting machines
Machine Structure As the transmission figure shows: Motor 1 via V-belt drive the large pulley 2 to make it turn, the even shaft gear 3 mesh the gear 4, II axis even shaft gear 9 mesh the III axis gear 10, III axis even shaft gear 5 mesh the swimming gear 6, the torque transmitted to crankshaft drive the connecting rod 12 to push movable knife seat 13 to cut.
Safety Precautions 1. Preparation before operating 1.1. Move the large pulley, check if the gears mesh well. 1.2. Check if the knives are installed tightly. The distance between two knives should be at 0.2mm to 0.5mm / 0.2mm to 0.8mm in level 1.3. Check if all screws are tight (7 /8 screws in side cover should be checked frequently) 1.4. Check if the appliance is normal; make sure the insulation is well. Make sure to use 3phase 4-wire grounding. After grounding, test and make sure the turning direction of the large pulley is same with the mark in cover. 1.5. Fill in oil before operating a new machine. Open the screw in upper cover and find the oil hole, fill in 8kgs to 10 kgs gear oil N150-220# 1.6. Test the machine without loading steel, stop immediately when there is any anomalies.
2. Precautions During Operating 2.1 Make sure the steel is cut by the lower part (lower than middle) of the knives, please don't cut steel by the upper part so as to prevent fatigue to the tail part of the machine. 2.2 Check if the knives are loose while working. Exchange cutting position of the blade or replace with a new knife when the knife is crack. 3. Usage of Clutch Pedal 3.1 Put the steel in position; put the iron block touch close to the steel, press the clutch pedal to cut steel. The machine would cut 1 time if you press once. Don't keep pressing clutch pedal for more than 2 seconds, or the knives would keep cutting continuously. Press the clutch pedal to full extent. Frequently in-adequate press would lead to short life of the clutch pedal. 3.2 To keep continuous cutting, tension the M8 screw to pull out the stop pin. 3.3 Take out the pad inside the fixed knife, replace with angle knife, the machine can cut angle steel (angle knife must be customized) Quick-wear Parts
