AIR BRAKE FITTING FOR COPPER TUBE
1. Applications: Used to copper tubing in air brake system
2. Advantages:
Machined from CA360 brass. Easy to assemble (no flaring required). Being used with Nylon tubing by replace nut, sleeve and insert with short nut and sleeve.
3. Specifications:
When used with NTA63 sleeve and Nylon SAE J844 Tube, the series meets D.O.T. FMVSS 571.106 performance requirements. Also meets funcational requirements of SAE J 246.
4. Working Pressure Range: 4000P.S.I.
5. Temperature Range:-65F+250F(-53ºC+121ºC)
6.Assembly Instructions:
Cut tube to desired length and remove burrs.
Slid nut and sleeve on tube, the thread end of the nut should face toward the fitting body.
Insert tube into the preassembled the fitting, the tube should be bottomed in the fitting.
Tighten nut to required torque as indicated on chart.
